I also wish they'd make the Ixali quests that reward oaknots suck less to do, knowing that they're the ones people are going to be repeating. Everyone I know hates doing them, it's not uncommon to get mining, fishing, botany from Coerthas, and mining, fishing, or botany from Mor Dhona with maybe one DoW/DoM quest mixed in there if you're really lucky. It's laborious, and it's not fun. The only reason I get to do any of the other beast tribe quests now and then is the times I get a fisher quest for both Mor Dhona and reject them.
It's like someone said with the Ixali quests- "We hear your feedback re: not liking FATEs with other Beast Tribes Quests (such as Magitek Menace) so instead we're going to give you something different you're guaranteed to hate having to do on a daily basis just as much!"
Its not actually that I hate the ixal quest, its just I would rather use
my 6 daily limit to get pieces for my artisan crafting gear, than use
them for a pitiful 6 ventures. But lore/cutscenes are important to me to
get done since we have an expansion on the way and likely have our
hands full after that.
