FFXIV Heavensward is great

I'm pretty sure development for Heavensward was well in progress before this was announced.   Still doesn't look anywhere nearly as good as 1.23. Everything still looks like it's made out of plastic FFXIV Gil. Will the new engine require better hardware to run at the same level of detail? My laptop runs the "old" engine pretty well...

DX11 if implemented well, uses less resource than DX9, so it will depends on how well SE implement this. If well, you should actually see performance increase. Not 100% sure but it will prob be on PS4 as well as it can use up to Direct X 11 *cough* You should upgrade to PC anyway ;D looks so nice.

 ps4 can not use dx11 lol dx is a microsoft thing. Sony have there own api which is a dx varient.
